This box takes spare blankets, winter throws, and the pile of cushions that come off the bed each night, and closes a soft curved lid over the lot. At the foot of a bed or under a window, it doubles as a bench and a place to sit while you pull on boots.

It's built from solid mango wood, a dense, fast-growing hardwood, so the grain and color shift a little from piece to piece. Choose walnut for depth or chestnut for warmth.
